Why Moonstone Studio?
Beautiful rainbow moonstone was the inspiration for my design studio’s name. Luminous and milky-white, this semi-precious stone is known for its wondrous play of colour — an iridescent glow that shimmers across the surface, causing spectral light refractions to beam flashes of electric blue, orange, yellow and pink. This stone is associated with intuition and new beginnings, which I felt is fitting for fresh new design projects and entrepreneurial spirit.
But also: my surname is Stone and I love gazing at the moon! ☾
